DIY 1: Anti- aging Mask
Ingredients:
100g of aloe vera gel
100g of cucumber.
Directions: To create a smooth paste, combine the ingredients with a little water. Apply it to your face and leave it on overnight to work. In the morning, rinse off and apply your usual day cream.
DIY 2: Even toned skin
Ingredients:
1 tbsp aloe vera gel
1 tablespoon of natural yoghurt.
Directions: Mix well until you get a smooth liquid. Apply it to your face and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse off with cold water to reveal even toned skin!
DIY 3: Gentle exfoliation
Ingredients:
2 tbsp Aloe vera
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar mask
Directions: To make a smooth paste mix well and apply on clean face, let it stay for 10 minutes and wash it off. Moisturize as usual!
DIY 4: Hydrating/Moisturizing skin
Ingredients:
1 tbsp aloe vera
1 tsp coconut oil
Directions: Coconut oil has high moisturizing properties that helps nourish your skin. Make a paste and gently massage on your face. Let it sit for a few minutes, wipe it with wet cloth and finish off with your cream.
DIY 5: Reducing Pigmentation
Ingredients:
½ tsp turmeric
1 tbsp aloe vera
Directions: Turmeric has anti-bacterial properties that also help reduce pigmentation, apply generously on face, and wash off after 10 mins.
DIY 6: Reducing Acne
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of aloe vera
5 to 7 drops of tea tree oil
Directions: Mix it together until it becomes a smooth, even paste. Apply the mixture on your face and leave it for 10 minutes before rinsing.
DIY 7: Hydration Bomb
Ingredients:
1 tsp rose water
2 tbsp aloe vera gel
1 tsp mashed cucumber (optional)
Directions: Mix it together until it becomes a smooth, even paste. Apply the mixture on your face and leave it for 10 minutes before rinsing. Add cucumber for extra hydration to skin!
DIY 8: For clogged pores
Ingredients:
1 tsp masoor dal (soaked and grinded)
1 tbsp aloe vera
1 tsp tomato paste
Directions: Prepare all elements and make a paste of them. Masoor is well known for exfoliation, tomato paste is packed with antioxidants and aloe vera combined makes it the perfect cleansing mask.
DIY 9: To treat dry skin
Ingredients:
1 tbsp banana mashed
1 tbsp aloe vera
1 tsp honey
Directions: Make a mask with all these ingredients that are highly nourishing, helps tightens pores etc. Apply and massage well on skin, wash it off after 10 mins
DIY 10: To get clear skin
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon aloe vera gel
1 tablespoon finely shredded carrot
1 egg white
Directions: Combine all three and beat the mixture till it turns frothy. Apply it on the face using a brush and let it dry before rinsing with warm water.
DIY 11: For Nourished Skin
Ingredients:
2 tbsp of Aloe Vera Gel
1 Vitamin E capsule
Directions: Slather this rich mixture on your face and let the mixture dry off. Rinse it off with cold water. Result: Fresh, radiant skin in a snap.
DIY 12: Rejuvenating and moisturizing dry skin
Ingredients:
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp shea butter
2 tbsp aloe vera gel
Directions: After the mask ingredients have been mixed, apply a generous layer to the skin of your face, neck. Let the mask dry for fifteen minutes and then wash your face with lukewarm water. If necessary, use a soft washcloth and small circular motions to remove any leftover mask ingredients. Don’t scrub too hard or you’ll remove all the beneficial oils.
DIY 13: Removing dead skin and shrink blackheads
Ingredients:
2 tbsp Aloe vera gel
1 tbsp Brown sugar (or white sugar in a pinch)
Directions: Apply the liquid to your skin with your fingers. Then, gently massage your skin using small circular motions for five minutes. Let the mask dry for another ten minutes before rinsing your face with lukewarm water.
DIY 14: Treating dry flaky skin
Ingredients:
3-4 drops Almond oil
1 mashed banana
2 tbsp aloe vera gel
Directions: When the ingredients turn into a paste, dip your clean fingers into the bowl and retrieve a healthy dollop of the mask. Once fifteen minutes have passed, rinse your skin with lukewarm water to remove the mask.
DIY 15: Reducing split ends
Ingredients:
1 cup aloe vera gel
2 tbsp hibiscus flower paste
Directions: Mix both the ingredients together and apply it all over your head, especially on the hair ends. This will make your hair thick, smooth, and shiny.
